Marine Fasteners Orlando Center Changes Hands

Marine Fasteners has a new landlord at its Orlando-area distribution center, into which it moved last spring on a 10-year lease.

Dalfen Industrial acquired the 133,149-square-foot property from developer BlueScope Properties for $14.1 million. Marine Fasteners has occupied half that space since it moved there in May 2020. Set 22 miles north of downtown Orlando and four miles east of Interstate 4, it features 32-foor ceiling clearance and a 130-foot truck court with a 60-foot concrete apron.

Marine Fasteners was founded in 1984 by Carl Brantley. At that time, boat builders across the U.S. were the single largest users of stainless steel fasteners. Within four short years, Marine was recognized as the premier supplier of stainless steel fasteners to the marine industry, opening five stocking locations before it was acquired in 2008 by The Wurth Group to function as its primary stainless steel supplier in North America. After adopting Wurth Group’s C-Parts Solutions (CPS) system Marine Fasteners says it took its vendor managed inventory programs to the “next level.” With the introduction of its customer app for iOS in 2016, “Marine Fasteners is stepping into the 21st century of customer service.” Learn more about Marine Fasteners Orlando at www.marfas.com.
