EDSCO Fasteners, a manufacturer of foundation anchoring systems for power transmission poles and other large steel structures, has been acquired by private equity firm MiddleGround Capital.

EDSCO, headquartered in Denton, TX, had been a portfolio company of Nashville-based LFM Capital beginning in January 2017. During its ownership EDSCO acquired Indiana Anchor Bolt and Tower Support Services.

MiddleGround makes control investments in North American middle market B2B industrial and specialty distribution companies.

EDSCO’s anchoring systems are predominantly embedded in concrete foundations and custom engineered to allow structures, such as windpower generators, to be securely placed on top of them.
