Airbus, Apple and Hyundai are among OEMs that have suspended production due to supply chain disruption resulting from the Coronavirus, now known as Covid-19. Precautions taken to contain the outbreak have ricocheted across global industries, Assembly Magazine reports.

Airbus’s factory in China accounts for almost 10 percent of production of its most popular jet. Hyundai Motor idled all seven of its South Korean plants.

Taitra, which operates the 2020 Taiwan International Fastener Taiwan Show, announced a change in dates. Originally scheduled to be held on April 21-23, “After comprehensive consideration of the new coronavirus epidemic, the organizer decided to extend the exhibition date until October 14-16 at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Hall,” show organizers said.
